'9/11: A Tribute in Lights' Photo Exhibit in Greenwich Village

Visit Greenwich Village, SL's most authentic and oldest NYC sim, and view '9/11: A Tribute in Lights - a collection of remarkable images taken over 2 years at the annual memorial in NYC. Adjacent to the exhibit is the 9/11 Memorial - built by the Village's New Yorkers in memory of those we lost.

From the artist: "As a New Yorker, I know i see 9/11 differently - my viewpoint is unique. Annually, in honor of the more than 2,750 people who died at the WTC - and of the heroism borne of the tragedy - the City stages the "Tribute in Lights" memorial. The twin blue beams pierce the night sky as they seem to reach heaven itself."

From the artist: "One of the best things to do in New York is to just walk. To just get lost in the City. The great thing about New York is that even when you're lost, you're never really lost. Every moment is a "New York moment" - an interaction, an image, a smell that lets you know you're in New York City, one of the greatest creations of mankind. During these "lost in NYC" moments, I've taken some of my best photographs. For me, they characterize my favorite moments for what they were: unbelievably New York; possible no where else on Earth."
